Like mountain and beaches

She’s dressed in righteousness

as high as mountains

and as wide as beaches

not because she is made of righteousness

as high as mountains

and as wide as beaches

but because they want to see

righteousness as high as mountains

and as wide as beaches

so righteousness as high as mountains

and as wide as beaches

she’s forced to wear.

This post was written for Poetry Potluck…this week’s theme is “Mountains and Beaches”…have a great week, everybody…cheers! 🙂

  1. Sounds like so many people…wherer we tend to be who we presume people want us to be…or conform to societies expectations of us. Excellent poem with a really interesting style. Cheers, Chloe

  2. this is what happens if we act as per whims of others. we should always be ourselves. always. that makes life easier for all.
